Past Present and Future

tiina petersson Past Present and Future2016 has ended and a brand new year of 2017 has begun. It’s a new book with adventures, knowledge and imagination. 12 new chapters and 365 pages long.

But first let’s look back at 2016 (You can read about 2015 here).

2016 was the year I started up my business again from a slumbering presence. Apart from photography I’ve also worked as a consultant in communications for a couple of businesses.  Much work and thought in 2016 has also been given to this new website that I published in March 2016 and the newly opened online store. Please check it out if it interests you. It feels good to finally have it done and out in public. I will surely change it a bit and I will add new art regually so If you really want me to add a special thats not in the store yet let me know!

My inspiration hasn’t been on top this year  because of a split mind (see my post about my thoughts here). But I have made some pieces that you can se in the gallery. The work I have done has changed a bit this year. They are not as dark as the year before. I’ve also used landscapes again as backgrounds in some pieces. Like back in the day when I started my Fine art journey (You can see some of my work from a few years back on my other blog). And I started to experiment with water! But yet to be shown.

2016 was also the year I had my first group exhibition. The exhibit was located in my hometown Skövde. I was planning to have another exhibition in November with another artist but we decided to take it 2017 instead. More information of that will come when its’s time.

I wrote a post the other day on the top 9 photos of likes and comments on my Instagram this year.

For this year I hope to find a balance with making a living and making more art. Because ultimately. Art is what I love to do. It’s exciting to see where this brand new year of 2017 will lead me.
